This is a beautiful home in a quiet area with a lot of space and a lot of rooms. The hosts (Lauren and Bill) were fantastic. There was a wonderful spread, including homemade muffins or cinnamon rolls every morning, very sweet dogs, and all the amenities. I would stay every time I go to Alaska and I highly recommend it.
We stayed here a lot while on vacation in Alaska. What a fabulous place to stay. They treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious. And the doggies were so cute. Would definitely recommend staying here. Lauren was such a help to with planning our trip.
Our Alaskan Dream is a piece of heaven on earth! Bill and Laure are the ultimate hosts. The breakfasts provided are delicious and plentiful! The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings are astounding. The time we spent at Our Alaskan Dream was restful for the soul. It was difficult to leave because it was such a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Bill and Laure for making the start of our Alaskan adventure perfect!
Our Alaskan Dream was wonderful! Bill and Lauren go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We were well cared for, as were our pups! Our meals were delicious and left us with satisfied stomachs every time. Our room was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave! Beautiful space, beautiful people (and doggies!) Highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful time on our first Alaska trip staying at Bill and Lauren’s B and B. The bedroom was super comfortable, our bathroom was spacious with a giant, two headed shower and heated floors. Several cow and young moose sightings on their property where i was almost face to face with mama moose stripping leaves off saplings while we looked on from the safety of one of their several decks accessible from our bedroom. Breakfasts were always great with many choices (tried a local plant, think it was called fire weed, jelly that i recommend on toast) and we enjoyed the friendly conversation with Bill and Lauren when we weren’t out seeing the many sights their region of Alaska offers. We picked wild blueberries in the mountains, drove and walked along several of the grand rivers, saw glaciers up close and of course walked on the beach and visited a fishing village. Please don’t take my word, make reservations and go do it!
