The best decor shop in all of Alaska!
Hands down, no doubt about it, this is the BEST upcycle/recycle store in the entire state. If you think I'm wrong, find me a better one......go ahead, I'll wait.......................Ah, I see you didn't find :). So come on by, check this place out and be ready to walk in, laugh with the owner and enjoy looking at the things she's finds and creates!!
im only sharing this because I love people like YOU and more importantly, I WANT THIS PLACE TO GROW!!!
This shop is the perfect meld of industrial beauty, history, and plain awesomeness.
I found it today and almost kept it a secret because it’s my new fishing hole for my man cave. I’m sharing cause they restock weekly 🤫If you buy something cool, its only there cause you beat me to it. They don’t advertise it that I know of but they have a price-cap at $300.00 FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT ONE OLD DOOR. You couldn’t pry it out of their hands (fantastic story behind it)!
I spent $61 and paid an even 70 because I felt bad about how great the prices were. The grinder is well over $150 alone to me. The steam iron is something I’ve never seen, antique but right out of a steampunk video. The cleats on the horse-shoes take my AK Gold collection to a different level. Also got a prohibition glass-stamped bottle and a very old medicine cabinet for old opium/laugnum and prohibition booze bottles.
If you're looking for a new thift/consignment shop in the valley, I cannot reccomend this store enough. The items are adorable, the stock is constantly rotating, and most importantly, the prices on items are VERY reasonable! This place has big furniture pieces like armoires, chests and dressers, to smaller pieces like bedside tables. We have already purchased a nightstand and a few decorative pieces for our home from Brown Chicken Brown Cow. The staff is also helpful without being pushy. I do wish they were open on Sundays (at the time of this review, they are open Thurs-Sat 10-5). All in all, if you're out and about, or you're doing a thrifting circuit (which hubby and I do), add this place to your list!
Tammy is so wonderful and sweet! Loooooove the shop! Nothing is over $300 which is great for my small budget!!!!
