Being new to The Valley, I had no idea where I was going to find a stylist that would have the patience and the expertise to foil, color, cut and style my unusually thick head of hair. My previous stylist suggested Pretty Little Layers Salon. After finding Pretty Little Layers on Facebook, I called and spoke to Jesse who was sympathetic to my situation and understood what I was looking for so we promptly booked my first appointment. I found Pretty Little Layers to be a modest, clean, and a well-decorated, modern salon. When Jesse and I first met, she patiently listened to the outcome I was expecting, smiled, rolled up her sleeves and went on to do her thing. Jesse is very easy to talk to, considerate of her client’s requests and thoughtful when offering new ideas or advice on hair care. I always come out feeling like a million bucks after I see Jesse. “Heartreach is an amazing place to go for prenatal, postnatal, everyday challenges, and parenting classes! Their program allows you to get personal boutique points or bucks so you can shop in their store. I attended a program like this back in Colorado and loved it as well! I really enjoy the bright lessons plan! And really like that it's faith based. But that doesn't mean they will pressure you into their beliefs. I encourage any mom to be to give them a shot! I've been taking classes ever since I had my first. They even have classes on co-parenting which have worked wonders In my life. If you need help with budgeting they got classes! Very happy I get to keep learning with their program! ❤️❤️”

“I've been camping in Alaska for over 20 years and I am amazed that I have never been to Finger Lakes State Rec Area. It is such an awesome little gem of a campground right in between Palmer and Wasilla. It's beautiful, clean, spacious, and quiet. And there is a boat launch for the lake, which allows motorized boats. You can fish on the lake or off one of the two docks. Fishing is supposed to be decent, but my friend and I had zero luck catching anything. The reason I gave 4/5 was the price of the campsites are really expensive per night ($25/$35 per night for tent/premium camping). I think the high cost becomes a bit prohibitive for the average camper and there are more cost friendly options along the Wasilla/Palmer Highway.”

“They always take the best care if our dog. It can be difficult since he is a rescue with no exact age or history. He is older and has issues with lumps, but they keep up on his care and let us know when they need to be left alone and when they must be taken out. Its not all about $. I had my previous 3 dogs there as well.”
