“Wonderful church focused on the Bible, pointing all to Christ. Discipleship is desired for all those who join, with the end goal of bringing glory to God. The Pastor has a loving and genuine spirit to all those who come.”

“What a beautiful church! The interior wood paneling and the views set it above so many churches. It also gave made attending worship service there really enjoyable. Not only does it serve as the Catholic church, but Sundays at 10am it also serves as the meeting place for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Girdwood Branch, which is a wonderful group of people who are very welcoming.”

“I'm only assuming as I've not yet been. But seeing as how I have a homesick Filipino coworker and I live immediately behind this particular church, plus... I really enjoy All Asian cuisine but especially Filipino food... I already know that this is gonna be a cool place.. (even though I won't understand much of the sermon as it will probably be in Tagalog right?) Is there a young peoples activity night? Or singles type of thing? I maybe want to see if I can get that Filipino food perhaps even a little more regularly than weekly! Not even gonna lie. I'll even try and learn Tagalog! That lumpia is worth it! Oh and also the friendship of anyone that can help me learn how to prepare it the authentic way! Lol”

“I go in once a month for a food box. Paul who works there is especially helpful, nice and has a god sense of humor. Salvation Army does a great deal in helping provide food for those unable to afford say 'both food & medicines' or food and automotive costs for much needed doctor's appointments. Thank you folks, you're a great benefit to the people here in the valley. Respectfully, Diane L”

“We first visited Skyline three years ago. The thing that made the biggest impression on me, were the people there. They were warm, real. They didn’t feel “surfacy” or fake. The pastor spoke truth with intention and draws you in. He shares from his heart and is willing to reveal his own imperfections and and shortcomings in order to make the the message he share real; to glorify God and bring minds to His workings. Since then, we have stayed and found a loving church family who accept and care for people no matter their background.”

“I attend weekly. Love these people and spiritual-filled atmosphere. In a time where we need Christ more than ever. Baptisms and the support, charisma people have towards welcoming those into the body of Christ. It's awesome to see that and be apart of it!”

“Best church I have ever been to!! The Bible is clearly taught. There's no extra fluff or personal additions to what the Bible is saying, but the Pastor is also not in your face about. The perfect blend of practical Bible teaching and a loving and respectful atmosphere! This place is very family friendly. They have a nursery and small youth ministries, but won't pry your kids away from you if you prefer to keep them beside you for the services. In every way, I believe this is the most loving and welcoming church I have ever been to. You must visit!!! Such amazing people, they've won my heart with their kindness and my mind with the Bible preaching.”

“My favorite thing about attending Valley Reformed Fellowship (besides the reformed biblical teaching) is that children are welcome during the service. We have three young kids and while we try to keep them calm and quiet during the service, we don’t feel freaked out if they are a little loud or squirmy. There are quite a few kids singing the songs and listening to the sermon. It’s a wonderful environment and great people to worship with.”

“It's a beautiful "off the beaten path" place... one of the few Churches I saw in the week that I was in Alaska. It has a reverence in the quiet... broken only by a gorgeous stream bubbling through the area. I highly reccomend this as a point of interest if you get to see Alaska.”

“Good churches are difficult to come by. This church is a breath of fresh air in a world of false teaching. Pastor Jeff does great work in preaching expository sermons without deviating from the text.”

“I usually really dislike visiting other churches while out of town. And while the music was very different from what we are used to at our church (we’re from the south)……the preaching was life changing! This preacher has the touch of God on his. My daughter and I were very moved….if I lived in this area I would make this my home church.”

“I have attended the church during my stay in Alaska and was amazed by the depth of spiritual wisdom and knowledge of scriptures of pastor Steve! Also love so much his teaching on healing, my faith has grown in the goodness and love of God. Don’t be intermediated by the small amount of congregation, if you want to experience the Holy Spirit presence and learn true character of God, this is the place! I also loved very much Linda’s class on Mondays how to pray for your family to be saved, what an amazing Godly woman of faith! Will miss this church and the atmosphere of Spirit and Wisdom! Will definitely come back next year!!!”

“I actually attended Messenger Christian Ministries church who leases this space from Wasilla Community Church at 6pm on Sunday. IMO it's the best church in the valley, offering much to the community in the way of help to the homeless, a food bank, clothing bank and a thriving recovery ministry for those with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. They are saving lives 1 person at a time.”
