Tortilla Flat Country Store

I didn’t think I liked gelato, but I ordered it & had the best lemon pie gelato I’ve had in my life. 🌝🌚 ok its the only one I’ve actually tried 😝
The store was packed but I jumped in when there was only a couple people in there and got a huge scoop in a sugar cone and it was fantastic. I’ve been up twice before with my dad and didn’t know about the ice cream in the store. A must!

Great drive out to Tortilla Flat and a stop at the Country Store. New Years morning was busy when several groups of car enthusiasts all arrived within an hour of each other. A Volkswagen group and a corvette group and motorcycles were all competing for the same parking spaces. The desert was green from all the rain. Great experience.

Touristy to enjoy the view, grab souvenirs, and enjoy some ice cream or fudge on a warm summer day.

I freakin love this place! When we were visiting, it was late in the afternoon on a week day, they didn't usually have a lot of tourist trade or business but they Graciously checked with us to see if we needed anything as they were going to be closing in a little while. We are able to get something to drink and had delicious ice cream! We'll be back!

Interesting small western town. We'd came for lunch, day outside and listened to a local band. They have music every. The Mercantile and Country store were semi- typical tourist places. The drive from Mesa is spectacular.
