“Got there Wednesday afternoon just after pretty much everyone else had left. Quiet and clean. Highly recommend visiting Tortilla Flats down the road. Rented a boat for a half day from the marina, went great, there was hardly anyone in the lake which was small but beautiful.”

“Great drive out to Tortilla Flat and a stop at the Country Store. New Years morning was busy when several groups of car enthusiasts all arrived within an hour of each other. A Volkswagen group and a corvette group and motorcycles were all competing for the same parking spaces. The desert was green from all the rain. Great experience.”

“Truly wonderful excursion! The boat captain was so nice and the boat itself felt super safe and was very comfortable. We ended up in the middle of a monsoon storm which was exciting but a little scary but I had no concerns that we were in good hands. The sights are absolutely gorgeous - I can’t recommend this experience enough!”

“Stopped in on 5/8/21 after a morning of kayaking with my granddaughter and daughter-in-law. We chose this day to sit inside. 6 people at the bar, a party of 4, 3 of us and a party of 6 also inside. Our server who was also the bartender was Taitum. This young woman is remarkable. She was making all drinks taking care of everyone and cleaned tables on her way by. She was knowledgeable about the menu and so Polite. She is a unique find now a day in the food service Industry. The restaurant was clean and the food was hot and yummy. I also enjoyed the drink special, Orange Moscow Mule. It was made PERFECT. This experience was a delight and I WILL be back and spread the word about this hidden Gem. Keep up the GREAT work Taitum!”
