Donnie Hale Park

Fun park for the family

Seems nice enough. The kids liked the playground. I like that there was a bathroom because some parks out here don't. The baseball diamond was nice too!

Donny Hale Park is a great place for recreation. There is a playground that contains fairly new equipment and is placed next to the softball field so adults can watch the softball games whilst keeping close to their children playing on the playground equipment. There is a covered Ramada section next to the remodeled restrooms and basketball and tennis courts to the rear south.

The park has an open grass area were many pop warner organizations can be seen taking advantage of the area. Every so often the City of Avondale is known to have special events hosted at this park that is free to the community such as free popcorn and movie night.
