“The previous location and staff were the worst, but the new location, which is a brand new building and certified staff for this school year of 2024, has turned around for the better. My son has never shown such a positive outlook about school and has been more vocalized about the positive reinforcement he is getting in his class. His behavior at home has increased for the better as well. We couldn't have made a better choice in enrolling our child here.”

Starting off with they don't even have detention at this school and treat all students with respect and students should do to the teacher. I had an amazing 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, so from my view it's a great school. This includes going to mass during one day of the week. Has to be the best Catholic School in the Phoenix area!”

I especially love the fact that my student was able to start attending college since her second freshman semester. As long as the students keep their good grades, college is free. Yes the curriculum can be hard, this is not for everyone. I highly recommend it.”

“LTS Avondale is a wonderful school if you want your children to stay busy and challenged. Ms. G, Mrs. Atkins, Mrs. Klue, and Ms. Blake are all dedicated, loving, wonderful teachers. Mrs. Smith is an excellent principle who cares deaply for her school. The staff in the front office are always eager to help and talk with you. I am sad to transfer my children to a different school but the high standards were proven to be too much for my family. Like I said, I would recommend this school to any family that is looking for a school with high standards and has the time to dedicate towards the rigorous school work.”

“This is a great school, the teachers are very friendly and accommodating. Front office staff is kind and responsive. It does get pretty busy on the streets just outside in the morning, but there's not really anything that the school can do about that. The kids engage with lots of great projects and recess as well. They also have a little kindergarten experience over the summer which is very interesting, it's a little peek into what kinder will be like in the coming year.”

“I am so grateful for La Petite Academy and the amazing staff! Tiara, the director is professional, friendly, and always greets my children with a smile as they walk through the door. She has immediately addressed any question or concern I have had and followed up as well. I almost feel as if my children are being cared for by family while I'm at work. While at La Petite, I know my children are loved, cared for, and made to feel they are special and important and that they matter. My children have been attending La Petite for two years and I wouldn't trust anyone more with my babies. Thank you Tiara, Ms. Susannah & Ms. Jenny in the 1 yr class, Mrs. Jennifer in the 2 yr class, Ms. Velma in the 3 yr class. I believe these women have a special bond with each child. The center teaches them many things including letters, colors, words, counting, songs, role play, the use of their imagination, friendship, tram work, and so much more! The class parties are fun and exciting and well planned out. Play time outside is fun and engaging and the equipment is wonderful. ”

“I was very picky about choosing a martial arts school for my family. Too many seem to be all about money, flashy uniforms, two dozen different belts with multi colors and patterns, and of course black belts guaranteed in a defined, often unrealistically short, amount of time...as long as you pay those dues and hidden fees. You won't run into any of that at Zen Wellness. The instructors at Zen Wellness all really care about the arts they are passing on to their students, and they care about the students being successful. At the same time they are disciplined and don't hesitate to correct students if discipline is needed. They are also upfront with all the costs. Oh and speaking of costs (or lack there of)...the instructors at Zen Wellness provide private lessons at NO extra cost if you need some extra help. In my experience that's unheard of, but at Zen Wellness you just need to ask. Actually you usually don't need to ask, because the instructors know their students, spot where they are struggling, and proactively suggest coming in for private lessons (again at no extra cost). I'm very glad I discovered Zen Wellness. If I ever have to move I'm sure finding a martial arts school and instructors this high quality will be a very daunting task.”
