The Birth Ally- Doula Services

Rachel is a great labor and birth doula. She provides excellent support to her client. She's always been available via texts and or phone calls whenever I needed her during my pregnancy and was quick to be there for me and my husband during labor and birth. She is also a great lactation support person and has great advice and resources for any kind of baby feeding needs. She's there to listen to you as a friend which really helped me get through my postpartum baby blues.

Rachel was absolutely amazing! This was my first baby and I was wanting to have a natural birth. I was a little scared and I decided to seek out doula services and I got more than I could have ever imagined. Rachel was so helpful in prenatal care. She offered private childbirth classes where she answered our questions and prepared us for birth and she also offered breastfeeding classes and was available to answer any questions we had.
Because it was my first pregnancy I didn’t know what to expect in terms of labor starting and she was so patient with my questions and guided me and kept me calm. When my water broke she was ready to come as soon as I needed her. My birth plan changed during my labor because of horrible back labor and Rachel made sure that I was properly informed while making the decision to get an epidural and when my epidural failed I was terrified but she made she I was at ease and guided me through the pain. It was an amazing experience.
In postpartum she was there through all the tough times. She came with resources, advice, and was ready to help with anything we needed and it was exactly what we needed at the time. Rachel exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond for us!

My experience with The Birth Ally was nothing short of amazing! Throughout my pregnancy I received ample support and guidance from Rachel which included labor preparation, practice and birth planning. Furthermore, when I had questions and concerns Rachel made herself available and never made me feel like I was a burden. She graciously provided a listening ear, which at times is all a new mom needs! Although my labor came two weeks early Rachel arrived with no delay, and coached me through the long hours and insured my needs were heard. She also supported my partner, which made for an empowered birthing team. After my delivery Rachel gave me one on one attention by assisting my newborn and I with skin-to-skin bonding and latching techniques. She worked with the hospital staff to secure my placenta, which she encapsulated and provided to me a few days later. Through her services, Rachel made certain that I would have a great start to motherhood. We are eternally grateful for her knowledge and support!
