My Dad was transferred to the Center of Val Vista after having limited mobility after 18 days in the hospital and when he arrived at the Center he was on the second floor and from that minute on, nurse Abraham made him feel comfortable and encouraged him to gain back his strength and mobility. Not only that, but he made us, the family, feel confident in his care and kept us updated on his progress and did everything he could to involve us in the rehab despite a language barrier with my mom. Because of the care my dad received here, he is back home with us and has gained back his independence we are so thankful for nurse Abraham and all of the staff at Center of Val Vista for their part in my dad’s rehabilitation.
If it is necessary to have to find a rehab center I would put this one at the top of your list. From the moment I arrived until I left the care was unprecedented! The entire staff was excellent. Everyone took great pride in taking care of my needs. One particular person stands out - his name is Abraham - I’ve never met such an upbeat, caring and generally all round nice guy. He greeted me with a smile and a happy voice everyday! And thanks to my therapy Team of Fernando & Maria who encouraged me every step of the way. There are so many others that I would like to name - all in all this Center deserves huge kudos! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Originally, I was reluctant staying at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Those thoughts changed immediately once I met the amazing staff. My nursing assistant, Abraham, was patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. He was just a kind hearted person. The PT/OT Team were definitely at the top of their game. The morning session was more vigorous than the afternoon but still meaningful. Everyday there were new and challenging task to perform and Macelia was hands on. It was just a joint effort and very caring. I appreciate everyone so much. Thank You
Great staff. Friendly people all around. Wonderfully kind care for my life long companion Susan. Rhonda was super helpful keeping us in the progress loop. They have one of the finest group of medical professionals and most friendly office staff we have ever encountered. Our thanks to The Center at Val Vista for their expertise and gracious care. And they do it all with a smile.
Our experience with The Center at Val Vista treating and caring for our mother was exceptional.
The facility itself was top notch and their staff is exemplary. They were very caring and most important to me the staff was readily available and competent. Treatments that my mother received included medications, dietary and physical/occupational therapy. These provided the ability for my mother’s improvement.
The NP Steve Seymour that treated my mother has an excellent bedside manner and discussed my mother’s condition with us as human beings. He told us laymen in a fashion that we were readily able to understand and he made the time necessary to explain the pertinent details fully. Never rushing off.
Another standout staff member was Abraham. He is a nurses assistant who was assigned specifically to my mother. We couldn’t have asked for a better human being. Abraham was courteous, competent and very capable. He was constantly checking in on mother and provided her a tremendous amount of caring service.
I would highly recommend The Center at Val Vista to anyone that requires rehabilitation following a medical procedure or illness.
