“The only pain management provider that worked with me to Decrease my medication! I tried multiple pain management providers & at my first appointment they would asked me if my pain level needs an increase of my medication. The last straw was a provider saying "we could hook you up to an IV for 3 days and get you off pain medication completely" I don't even know if that route would work.. Arizona pain center impressed me right away and already had a plan outlined to reach my goal. This location is phenomenal. I've made a huge decrease in my medication by working with them, month by month and I couldn't be happier ! I would definitely recommend this practice if you have the same goal & need a support”

“Dr. Lau is someone that you feel like you've known forever upon first meeting. She's so very kind, funny, down-to-earth, and incredibly intelligent. She is extremely proactive and really knows what she's talking about. She knows the right tests to order and when to stay conservative as well as when it's time to get more aggressive. She talks *with* you and not *to* you, which I also think is really important. She involves you in healthcare decisions, and takes your opinion into consideration. She always answers all of my questions and never makes me feel rushed. She also has a full-time phlebotomist (who is also great) in her office so when she orders labs, you don't have to go to an outside lab and wait if you don't want to. I've had labs drawn a few times at this office and never once has the phlebotomist missed a vein.”

Every appointment I was given all my options and was never pressured into making a decision until I was comfortable. Laid back atmosphere where I felt my feelings and concerns actually mattered. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Guzman who supported me in my decision to have a VBAC and helped make it happen. When it came down to my actual delivery Karen, my midwife, was very knowledgeable and supportive. She walked me through delivery and made it such a calm and peaceful atmosphere. My first session she provided me with several "tools" to manage my anxiety including a fabulous guided meditation app, a sleep app as well as breathing and tapping exercises. The combination of these has helped tremendously! We are now working through my lifeline and moving into EMDR, which I am really excited about. I look forward to my session with Maria each week.
