“Great visit with my youngest daughter and her family. We learned that the Phoenix and Gilbert Temples share design ideas based on desert Agave plants. The Phoenix Temple has designs inspired by the flower stalk the plant sends skyward, reminding us to look up as well. The Gilbert Temple has designs inspired by the succulent leaves and the impressions they leave on one another. It reminds me of the impression one generation has on both the one succeeding it and that preceding it.”
