Adam was knowledgeable down to knowing the right smell of the transmission fluid the car dealer used on the car. He gave me a quick report on what was wrong, options for how to fix it and even researched a pending recall the car had to see if the manufacturer would cover the cost. He did so much before seeing any payment from us. He covered the cost of the rental since his guy couldn’t look at it right away but even then, they got it fixed a week earlier than expected and got us back to normal again! However, what is the point of my clicking on "I'm heading in now" to let them know to have my pizza ready if the individual working up front was just gonna be looking down at his phone & not have my pizza ready when I walked in? It took like 2 minutes, the guy came outside with me with a master box of keys and the 1st one he tried fit and was the correct key. I actually called Henderson NIssan 1st and the guy acted like I was nuts for asking. He said they don't sell them and would have to have the old ones removed in their service dept at an unknown cost and buy new ones. I mean really? Then I went to AutoNation Nissan and was in and out in less then 5 minutes with the key.”

“Disclaimer- SS is great for tires, do not have them perform any repair work!! S&S have solid pricing for good tires, they are punctual and do an excellent job communicating all work being performed on your vehicle. That being said, I would only recommend tire replacement and (possibly) an alignment at S&S. Most recently I replaced my front two tires and requested an alignment. After an inspection by one of SS mechanics I was informed that he was unable to perform the alignment. This was due to a bent tie rod and lower control arm/ball joint assembly that was reported damaged. The vehicle was involved in a low speed collision with a curb four months prior, this news did not come as a surprise. What I found shocking was the quoted price on the parts. I was quoted 116.95 for the inner tie rod assembly, 103.95 for the outer tie rod assembly and 80.50 for the rest of the tie rod assembly. The control arm/ball joint was quoted at 187.95. An additional piece of equipment that was not needed was also thrown on to the quote putting me at a grand total of 626.80 for parts. With labor I was quoted $980 minimum. I was able to purchase all the the required OEM parts for just under $190.00 (Two year manufacture warranty on all parts). I performed the repairs in an hour and a half and had an alignment performed for $60. If your in a pinch and need quality mechanic work done, do some research and price out your options. A lot of the major chains will take advantage of the fact you do not possess the knowledge to identify huge variances in pricing for parts as well as what work is actually necessary. Again, S&S provide great tires at reasonable prices, but they are going to overcharge for any other service.”
