I enjoyed my first experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. Our friendly server has worked there for 7 years and had many loyal customers telling her farewell as we were ordering.
Due primarily to our server's recommendation, I ordered a flat iron steak with sides of an Idaho potato with the fixings, and parmesan-crusted cauliflower.
While we waited, she brought a small loaf of cool bread with cold butter. Which leads me to my area of improvement..
I would like understand why both my steak and the bread were cool. My friend's steak (a flat iron as well) was warm and tender. I would have preferred mine hot and tender. I think they waited on my potato perhaps because it was hot with a lightly salted crust.
The flavor of each dish was wonderful and environment enjoyable leading to an overall a good experience. I am sure they would have fixed my steak if I had asked
Wonderful food and excellent attentive service. We loved the crusting spice on the steaks and our waitress told us they sell it. Bought a bag and are loving re-creating it at home. Will definitely go back!
This is the best steakhouse ever.. Great food and service. I really love the atmosphere. Great place to take your love one for a date night. The only problem I have is there is not a longhorn steakhouse closer. The drive is worth every drop of gas.
We were lucky enough to have a new server, Chris. He did a super job.the food was very delicious. Spoke to manager and we talked about how Chris did and I mention about some other employees and how they didn’t smile or enjoying being there. Not that a person has to smile 24/7 but while in public yea got to try. Chris, stay great.
Eddie the Mananger is an extremely talented business person. His intelligence, management style and customer service sets examples the likes that I have not seen in my fifty-five year career. He compares to the top five percent of executives that I have I countered in my lifetime. He should be moving through Wells Fargo faster than the elevator could take him to the top!
The staff there is always nice and willing to make conversation while you're signing a check or swiping your card. A few have actually remembered details about my life and work.
