“When our dog Tom was exhibiting signs of distress, we called our usual vet but were not able to be seen for a couple of weeks. Given he was 15 yrs old and rapidly showing decline, there was no way I was willing to wait and put him through that. An emergency room was my last choice so I opted to call around and was able to finally land on Best Friends who agreed to see us. Sadly, the news was worse than we would have hoped for (but tried to be prepare for). The entire staff treated us as though we had been long term patients, giving us options and not trying to sell us on expensive, low percentage procedures. When we made the hard choice, they were quickly supportive, and comforting, and offered to help us even though by that time it was getting late and close to closing. They didn't even seem to look at the clock, just got down to the business of making both us and Tom as comfortable as they could. As they took our old man to the back room, they asked if we would like a paw imprint. My first reaction was that I didn't think that necessary, that I wasn't "one of those people," and that I really didn't want to think about that at that moment, but I agreed, both to be polite, and to "hedge my bets" in case I changed my mind. When it was all said and done, they handed me that casting and I could see my friends "finger print swirls" in the thing, and I have to tell you it instantly became very important to me, and I had to really fight to keep it together. As far as the procedure, the doctor was gentle and caring, both with Tom and my wife and I, and I cant express how much that helped in saying goodbye to the friend we made with that once tiny puppy so many years earlier. The technician came back and helped us prepare our not-so-little anymore guy for transport, equally as gentle and caring. I felt at that point I should write a review, tho its not something I normally do. As it is in life, I let other things push that back until a few days later I got a card wishing us condolences, signed by the entire staff, and many describing Tom and the experience they had with him the short time we had left him there for evaluation. I would feel utterly negligent in not sharing my experience with Best Friends Animal Hospital, and I would recommend them to anyone.”

“They saved my dog's life. There really isn't much more to say. It was an emergency service so my review isn't in regards to the cost. Every time I took him back for bandage changes they were so sweet. I could tell from my dog's reaction that he was being treated well there. I'm told this clinic also took care of our family dog years ago and the entire staff was so incredibly kind and comforting.”

“We have two guinea pigs and a hamster that go to the Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital and they have been amazing! We have always been able to get an appointment in a timely manner, we are seen promptly and taken care of very well. I have always received top notch medical advise, which is extremely hard to find for these small animals. I loved that they asked us questions about their cage and what they were fed because it shows that they care about each patient having good husbandry with their pets. When I wasn't doing something correctly they gently advised of a better way. It is quite a drive for us to go here, but we will gladly make the trek with how knowledgeable and kind they are with us and our beloved fur babies.”

“This place took great care of our dog Elly. She was really nervous and the staff made her feel welcome. The tech gave her lots of treats while she was doing the exam to get Elly comfortable, and the vet was super nice and patient. They made sure to only do the things that were required and talked us through the options. The bonus is that they accept PetAssure insurance! Thank you for the kind service and excellent care.
