(June 28, 2020, 5:18 pm)Cascades of ponds where ppl can fish. Which also attracts alot of ducks and swans. Recreational center with a small gym which is available for local residents. It has an indoor basketball court, wall climb, running area above the courts, rooms for computers, and etc.. Ton of green grass, skate park, water park for kids, and many baseball fields. Great place to take a break after running or biking on the skunk trail. Bathroom and water fountain included. Love this place!
(February 24, 2020, 9:39 pm)We had our wedding there this past weekend, and it was such a blast! It was simple small with family and friends..and we were so blessed to have it there as it was pouring rain that day. All my nieces and nephews and close family friends kids were having a blast playing in the game room and rock wall. The parents were absolutely amazed that the kids were having a blast and it kind of gave them a break too. We were able to drop off our cake the night before and they even landed us an extension cord as my parents couldn't figure out my arm with the lights..lol everything was perfect..the only complaint I could really say I had...was to wash off the duck poop around the room as my wedding dress got in it.
(January 24, 2020, 8:48 pm)My wife and I have signed up for free Sustainable You educational seminars. A majority of these are being held at Rio Vista, Peoria Community Center. These seminars educate on growing and taking care of outside trees and plants, including watering and pruning in a desert environment. This complex hosts many activities, which include outdoor baseball, vollyball fields, a skate park, a playground and a Military Veterans Memorial. There is also
an indoor fitness center. This center is very nice
(January 20, 2020, 1:19 pm)Nice place to have a BBQ and play. Small kids playground has slides and climbing stuff. Big kids have fields for several sports. There is a river walking trail that goes several miles with north and west forks. Park is kept clean and bathrooms are maintained. Parking can be quite crowded but there’s a lot of it and people coming/going so you can usually score a spot quickly.

Rio Vista Recreation Center is actually more than just a gymnasium. There are outdoor Ramadas, beautiful softball fields, Sand Volleyball courts Rio Vista is a great park and area for the kids. I used to play softball here and the fields where always in great shape and the completion was really good.
