“My daughter has been attending since her junior year. I will say since she's been here she has excelled in all her studies. There very helpful whenever I needed to speak with the staff if it was in person or over the phone. They seemed concerned about my child's education and if at anytime we had something arise they always showed concern for my child's well being as well. The classes are smaller then a normal high school but I've seen it benefit us it allows more one on one student n teacher. Overall I love the principal who is so down to earth. Gives us a comfort to know we can come to her if for any reason being necessary. I feel my child is also in a very safe environment. On campus they have a police officer at all times during school hours. There front doors aren't open to be able to have any random person just walk in. You have to be buzzed in by front desk person. I would highly recommend any parent that is having issues with yr child at school to give it a chance. It is worth it for myself I am grateful for the staff n Hope high school for going that extra mile for our children . They also give recognition to the students for perfect attendance n have activities which allows them to participate in group events. I feel is rewarding since this teaches them more interaction with one another. Please feel free to speak on yr experiences if you feel different. Great experience at Hope Academy.”

“I actually graduated from this school this year. They did an amazing job helping us graduates get to graduation. In fact I'm going back to finish a program that HELPS students get a career in the furture. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful and friendly. Many people say this is a "bad school" or " bad kids go there" and parents say that their child failed because they didn't send grades and all but they have an app for parents to check grades and they send grades through the mail as well. They DO care about students, they go above and beyond to help students. Dr.Fowler is an amazing principal and is a dedicated principal to help all kids!”

“My daughter is in 2nd grade here. I've gotten lucky. Each teacher she has had is awesome. They communicate with me any concerns or ideas to better her learning experience. My daughter has shown advancement. And I'm happy. P.S. I always make sure to request a teacher that does not speak Spanish. My daughter gets confused enough in English.”

“As a former student, I can attest that Hayden can provide you with the necessary resources needed to succeed. During my 4 years, there were nice perks such as free tutoring, free ACT testing, and great staff that would push you and encourage you to succeed (Ramon Martinez!). There was a dual enrollment opportunity and math classes up to Calculus level for those interested in STEM careers. Despite its bad rep because of its location, this school can adequately prepare you for anything you want to achieve. As with any other school, it's what you make of it. With enough effort, anything is possible. One thing that I can say would be better was if the books were a bit more updated and unruly students were dealt with adequately. They can truly make a class hell repeatedly without the teacher being able to do much about it other than simply letting them into the class the next day to give them a hard time again.”

“Our baby girl has been going there since September. So far we only have experience in the infant room, but everything has been amazing. Melissa & Leanne and been great when it comes to our concerns. They have listened to everything we have to say and have accommodated us and our baby greatly. They are always willing to listen to any ideas or thoughts we may have. All the teachers have equally been great. We are so happy we came here and have no intentions on leaving anytime soon.”

“Tom has been a lead vocalist in Valley bands for over 30 years and teaching for more than 15 years. I took lessons from Tom for more than 5 years - not only does he perform at a high level, he teaches at a high level. Lessons with Tom were, without question, the best money I ever spent. I am the vocalist I am today largely from his efforts. I have and will continue to recommend him for instruction in all genres of music. There is NO ONE better at teaching the rock voice. He is more than capable of taking you as far as you want to go as a singer.”

“This is a rough school with some rough kids. But remember we are bi-products of how we are raised so stop blaming the school and start looking in the mirror. This is a great school my son was out of control and Mr. Trammel took time to work with my son, get him into desert choices and his behavior throughout the summer was awesome. Hopefully this carries on through the 2017 -2018 school year. Thank you to the staff and to Mr. Trammel for CARING.!!”

“When we first got my son enrolled there they were having try out for sports its a very loving school they open the arms up an welcome u in as a big family ...well my son made the team ...his teachers are really nice they keep u posted on what's going on with your child .only thing I would change is for the sports is getting the parents more invauled with after school socials to get them teams some snacks .chips drinks .pizza anything will help.the kids are out playing till rpm or even later an are very hungry I've been the one taking them snacks but I feel the school should be sending out flyers to the parents on helping or even the students should do car washes or bake sales something to help out the teams .other then that there a GOOD SCHOOL. My son is doing good here I haven't had any problems we love it ???? R.QUIROZ”

“Great atmosphere as well as caring staff and teachers. Decent lunch meals and occasional extra activities. I was taught many skills which other schools simply can’t provide. Lays the foundation of a STEM education quite well. Definitely a good choice to see if a STEM career is best for your child.”

“I miss this school so much. This was my second school because of preschool. I was in one club, and that was chess club. I liked all my teachers. I was so sad when I moved school in 3rd grade in the middle of school.”
