“My son is high functioning autistic. He struggles with social and emotional abilities like many autistic kiddos. He has struggles in school his entire life. His time at AFS has been wonderful! The last 2 years he is making much progress. The teachers are engaged, they truly love what they do. I finally get to be the proud mom bc they focus on what Tristan CAN do, not always on what he’s not doing. I feel this makes my son proud also and encourages him to always want to try to do better.
