One Love Grappling Arts

My cousin has been coming here for about a year now and we just moved back to Phoenix this summer from San Diego! My kids are the same age as my cousin, ages 7 and 9 and they started here 2 months ago for the kids class. My kids come 5x a week and I have noticed a huge difference in my kids strength and confidence.

Coach Issa is amazing with the kids as is John. They have met many kids from their class that they now consider friends and I am so happy to have like minded, strong, mindful kids they can identify with! During the pandemic coach Issa did online lessons which encouraged the kids to continue with their training even while at home. It’s so fantastic because I notice when my kids are stressed from this online school and unenthusiastic before class they always come out energized, fulfilled and with huge smiles on their faces after they leave!

Eventually they compete- once they are at a certain level and competitions start again. My kids are huge competitors and thrive off energy and discipline so I am extremely happy my uncle referred me to this gem of a place!!

They are extremely clean here and fully clean it after every class. You remove shoes when you walk in, even the parents and you can sit and watch the kids or leave while they are practicing. I have noticed also that my kids balance has improved greatly since coming here! They are better on their skateboards, falling less and injuring themselves less. An unknown yet positive side effect of jiu jitsu and the strength training they get here!

I took a trial class here just yesterday. Issa is a fantastic instructor and a great guy too! Very chill vibes yet everyone was there to work hard. I’m definitely thinking of signing up!!!
