Inspiration Point

Very invigorating hike.

This is a nice little hike, with a pretty decent view from inspiration point. I would rate this as an easy hike although I think it’s rated as moderate. Part of the trail is a bit rocky, so shoes with good tread is advisable although we hiked in running shoes.

There are a few other trails you can take if you want to make the trip down different than the trip up. This is a short easy hike in the parking lot is nice and large. We had no problems parking, and the facilities here are very nice.

It was a very nice hike up to this location. Although it did require some exertion (I was breathing hard by the time I got uphill through the multiple uphills), once you get up, the views are very nice! I wish I could be up here right at sunrise- I can only imagine how nice it would be.
You can see Tom's Thumb, I think, from this vantage point as well as other mountains. Very serene and they have a bench to sit on as well. From that bench, it looks like there's a rocky trail (?) that goes upward, but since it wasn't marked, I didn't bother to look.
Great nature spot.
