Rusty Taco

Great place for a good variety of delicious tacos and drinks. Service was ok. Had a good time with friends.

For my first trip to the Rusty Taco I ordered 2 fajita chicken tacos, and a egg and cheese with bacon Taco. The sign says all tacos are made with corn tortillas. Maybe I missed it but the breakfast was on a flour tortilla so I had to give that to a coworker due to my gluten intolerance. Also, the kind women that took my order put beef tacos instead of the chicken tacos I ordered. She was new so I will not leave a bad review for that reason. They corrected it to chicken after I noticed the receipt showed beef. I tipped one dollar, and was charged extra another dollar extra because the beef tacos are 50 cents more. Again, not worth the hassle to harass the staff to get it corrected.
The two tacos and chips I was able to eat were phenomenal.
They're not quite authentic style but they aren't texmex either. I thoroughly enjoyed the habanero salsa. It has an amazing kick.
In Summary: double check your order on the receipt immediately, and specify what kind of tortilla if you have an allergy.

We really liked everything g about our experience. We ordered food to go from the bar. The bar tender had suggestions and helped us to make the right choices. The tacos can come as tacos, bowls, or salads. The salsas were fresh and absolutely delicious. The grilled Baja shrimp as a salad as a highlight. We’ll be back to try more.
