“I see some negative reviews here about how scheduling works and about the office staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bauer for 5 years & I’ve never had a single problem with scheduling. Even when I have needed to see him quickly, I have gotten a workable appointment. What I have experienced has been a professional and friendly staff, and an easy scheduling system. I usually just go online to book something. Furthermore, the Baylor Scott & White system includes an online portal which is very useful for routine questions and prescription requests/refills. I use it often and every time I do, I get a very quick response. I messaged just this week for a prescription and within 15 minutes, the nurse messaged back that it had been approved and sent to my pharmacy. You can’t get better service than that. There was a comment about frustration at not being able to talk about more than 2 issues at an office visit. This is not the Drs choice, this is dictated by insurance companies. This was starting to be the case several years ago, when I was with another Dr., under a different system. Thanks to insurance control of the health industry, rigid rules & policies force our doctors to adhere to how much time they can spend and how many issues can be addressed, or it won’t be covered. It’s a tall orders for doctors and they spend as much time doing paperwork for insurance as they do seeing patients. Lastly, a few patients commented that Dr. Bauer is not compassionate. I have never seen him be anything but caring and very ethical. He has helped me with several ongoing health issues and I have complete trust in his expertise. He’s friendly and very easy to discuss anything with. I’m very glad to have found such a good practice.”

“Wow! Heidi is seriously amazing. Nothing like the first experience I had with injections with a previous doctor. She is incredibly sociable and listens to EVERY concern you might have and gives you feed back with incredible knowledge. She really knows her stuff. She books enough time to do everything with absolutely no rush. She truly takes her time. You really feel like your face is her sculpture and she wants to make it perfect. She books about an hour and 45 minutes which is awesome! Not many medical professionals do this. She really does care about her patients getting enough one and one time: Her aftercare instructions are thorough and she goes over every bit of information. She is also SO clean. She cleans the area as she injects so there is no chance of bacterial infection. The office is also super cute and clean. She is truly a saint. I don’t think I will ever be going anywhere else. I was having really bad headaches where It felt like my eyeball was going to pop out and Dr.Stewart did her thing and got me an updated prescription and also ran all the test necessary to insure everything was okay . Which thankfully Everything is good! - Everyone here is really sweet and they all go out of their way to schedule appointments as soon as possible. Also, the Decor in this facility looks amazing!
