“Our hankering for some chicken wings drew us to this spot. It's a quaint little neighborhood watering hole. A rustic tavern with country music piping through the speakers and full of what seemed to be regulars from the area. Not very large, but comfy. They have a wide selection of chicken wing dry seasoning and wet sauce options. We tried several. For starters, they prepare their wings with a light breading or coating of some sorts, so not a traditional naked chicken wing. We prefer them prepared the traditional way, but these were pretty good. They were, as advertised, very large wing pieces and cooked perfectly. Some of the sauces were a miss for us. Their "Buffalo" sauce was a bit bitter - just off. The mango habanero sauce seemed to be chilled, so made the wings cold. We really appreciated the friendly vibe and staff here. Great spot for some drinks while watching a game on one of their many TVs.”

“Stumbled upon this place while waiting for the Scottsdale Trolley, and oh boy was that kismet. Truly delectable pulled pork with just enough burnt ends included was made even better when dipping it bite by bite into their sweet BBQ sauce. I had never heard of Carolina Cole Slaw and they ley me try a bit before committing to it, and it's delicious with a vinegar base as opposed to mayonnaise. The beans were good but a little watery, also made better when dipped in the BBQ sauce. The true standout was the corn bread though, with whole kernels in almost every bite it tasted like southern love and is why I'll come back as soon as I can. Looking forward to trying the brisket and/or the ribs next time.”

“Our ladies group had breakfast here at the DC Ranch location for the second time. 12 of us and we could not have been happier. What a wonderful welcoming eatery. We had made our reservation ahead of time and arrived to find our server ALEX had all the places set, water and menus in place. He took the drink orders as each person arrive. He was very attentive and answered every request with a pleasant response. The food arrived quickly and for 12 orders it was amazing that the kitchen staff sent them out one right after the other. We sat for 2 hours. talking, No one felt rushed and more coffee arrive even if not requested. Thanks to everyone and we will return.”

The dogs are steamed and have that ballpark texture like in Detroit and the chili is what I remember. This would have been a 5-star if the wings were cooked enough to remove any pink.
