“Absolutely informative office visit with Dawn. Went in with intent to have a yearly exam (I wear hearing aids, my husband doesn't) as needed by everyone who understands their hearing is extremely important. Came away with a much better understanding of how our previous tests compared to ones today. Dawn, our Audiologist made us feel comfortable and thorough in what we may or may not need. Unique surprise to have a loaner pair of aids to see whether or not they felt right and exceed my expectation. By the time we drove home I noticed a major improvement with a new style of aid. “I give 5 stars to the ANC group home in Surprise, AZ. First and most important of all, the owners and caregivers are caring, kind and trustworthy people. The home is clean and safe. My husband has been there for a year and a half. He is in excellent hands. The food is pleasantly served and looks and smells delicious. I have heard no complaints, just compliments to the chef. “My daughter has enjoyed her classes here. I docked one star - considered docking two - because they offer a preview class that you have to pay for. This seems very odd to me. To draw in business wouldn't you want to offer that as complimentary? Secondly, after the preview class, we were told the instructor is supposed to come out and talk to you about the level you should enroll your child in. No one spoke to us. We just stood there for ten minutes and then left. The following week we came, and saw an instructor speaking in detail to another parent who is there for a preview class. Clearly they struggle with employee inconsistencies and communication. It shouldn't be difficult, the parents are literally standing right there.”

“Hubby fully went in to this experience knowing he had a severe hearing loss but not willing to spend the money for hearing aids. Well, we walked out with hearing aids! No pressure whatsoever. Just good solid testing that told us what we already knew. After testing out some aids and seeing how amazing the sound was, we opted for little less costly aids at a price we could live with and a 30-day trial that would get all but a $400 restocking fee back if he opted out before the 30-days. I think that was the selling point, that he didn’t have to lose his money if he couldn’t adapt to them. So far, so good! The criteria is he had to wear them a minimum of 10-hours a day. First day a little rough trying to figure out what volume we needed and in his words ‘everything is SO loud.’ 😬 But his brain is finally connecting to his ears and we are almost a week in and they are in every day except for shower time. No more him shouting ‘I. CAN’T. HEAR. YOU!!!’ every time I try to communicate with him. Ascent answered questions promptly on a day-after follow-up call from us, and then called us two days later to double-check how we were doing. They promise service every step of the way and we will hold them to that. Our technician Stacey was understanding of our concerns throughout the entire process and a pleasure to work with. Hubby is making this work for both of us!”
