“All the people I spoke with at this facility were kind and helpful but Patty was the best. She followed up with me and made sure my move out was quick and easy. I did knock off one star because about six months into my two years there they raised the price $50 without even telling me first. I understand prices going up as time goes on but $50 seemed excessive especially since my unit was pretty small in comparison to most there. Other than that though the facility was great, always easy to access, great customer service, and my property was good as new two years later.”

“I bought a new mattress a couple days before seeing their listings on Craigslist. Luckily, I was able to return the mattress I bought from a furniture warehouse and get the exact same mattress here…for $300 less. The mattress was in perfect shape, and the 2 gentleman that helped me were more than easy to work with. They delivered and even offered to take the old mattress to the garage to get it out of the way until it was returned back to the warehouse store. Next mattress I get will definitely be from here.”

“Really liked this complex. The staff was great. The neighbors weren't too bad and the area was always clean. Only issue I really ran into was parking. Only had 1 parking spot but had 2 cars and a bike that needed to be parked on a regular basis. Location was great. Many things within walking distance. If you don't want to walk, or bike you can take Tempe Orbit, it stops literally right out front of the office. All the apartments were the same (other than flooring, upstairs had more carpet than downstairs) and had washer/dryers. For the price, location and convenience, I really liked this complex.”

“Living in one of K and R’s Assisted Living places is a joy especially if you have a good attitude. The house is a home where you can feel free to do as you would in your own home. With only 5 residents the caretaker is close by to assist in anything that you need or want. The owner does everything in her power to make her residents comfortable even to buying you a new blouse or shirt or new shoes when she finds something that might brighten your day. The meals are full of fresh vegetables and fruit. Seldom are canned food included in the menu. If you have diet restrictions they are modified to your needs. Once a week live music is brought in for entertainment. There is a house doctor if the need comes up. And of course if you need to go to an outside doctor appointment an arrangement is made to take you and bring you back. I have been a resident for 2 1/2 years and it has been basically a happy time for me.”
