Mesquite Canyon Trail

Great trail for this time of year. Not too hot or cold. Some shade. Wouldn’t recommend this trail for inexperienced hikers but would rate it as moderate in difficulty for sure. Medium traffic level on a Monday afternoon in January.

Nice hike, I reccomend hiking up the 2nd peak to get a better view if you dont want to hike the full distance.

For anyone who hikes regularly, this is going to be an easy hike. Not a ton of elevation gain and the terrain is basically a smooth path.

The views are decent and varied.

Certainly worth a hike, especially if you own an annual pass to the state parks.

Very beautiful lollipop loop with the Willow Track back. Makes a total of 8 miles from Picknick Area number 7 in the park. I suggest to park there and then also do the waterfall hike.
