“While all Orthodox churches are special, what makes this place particularly stand out is, through the grace of God, Father Christopher and Matushka Natalie. These are two of the most welcoming and kind people you will ever meet. Most importantly, they are prayerful people who love God. Father Christopher is a well-known and experienced priest I first met over a decade ago in Los Angeles. He is prayerful, kind, welcoming, and many faithful come to him for spiritual advice and confession. Matushka Natalie is one of the most generous people I have ever met. She always has a smile and a kind word for people and makes you feel included. When I first met her, I told her how much I liked her prayer rope, and she wanted to give it to me right then and there! She is a wonderful conversationalist--not in the worldly sense, even though she is a lot of fun and has a great sense of humor. Once, she was speaking with me, a friend, and my kids, in front of the church after the service. We talked about something, and while it was friendly and light hearted, it also had a lasting spiritual effect on us. They have been praying and working very hard to make this church a place of prayer and by so many other accounts, a community. There's events and it's very well organized. Come visit.”

“Experience the Holy Spirit moving in CBC. Pastors sermons are totally Christs’ Word for today and always. Worship God through songs and Word.”

“The people of this church are very welcoming and it is a small senior crowd. The minister is too busy with her other church to fellowship with the congregation or us new visitors but she does preach a good message, sorta. However, since l have the opportunity to comment, l must say that the Holy Spirit moved in my heart ( perhaps others too) then was suddenly quenched after the minister prayed, welcoming the Lord to open our hearts; then by the reading of His word from the book of Acts 1-20. As our hearts were prepared and softened, the minister interrupted the moment by deciding to announce that she would be doing the bulletin on Wednesday's and she does need all announcements in before that....what?!?!?....lf l wasn't a visitor there with my family, l really would have got up and walked out never to return. We believers are in need of the message. We do not need to be informed about the politics of who and when announcements or anything else might need to be discussed just because she has the full attention of the congregation and control of the microphone at that particular moment. She is obviously too busy to find time to have church committee meetings with her as their leader. But her concerns for the order of things definitely must not be right in the middle of a prepared sermon! What a let down.”
