All the details on the day of the funeral were flawless - chapel/casket setup, quality of flowers, transport to the burial site, the seating and canopy at the burial site, military honors, and the wonderful food and layout of the catering at the reception. Even details such as reserved parking for the family and golf cart transport were appreciated touches that all showed tremendous respect for the family and deceased. They did a fantastic job putting together the high-quality video which was played during the funeral service and reception. “If you find yourself in the horrible position of having to browse Google reviews for mortuaries at 1am I unfortunately can relate. It's hard in the shock of things to pick somewhere for your loved one but I found Shadow Mountain to be a nice place. I honestly have no idea how they compare prices wise but they are a part of Dignity Memorial which seems to own most places now. Pam was very respectful of wishes, showing options, and communicating with me. Their staff that came out that evening was also very kind and compassionate. They took the time to listen to what our needs were and then made recommendations and suggestions that they thought would satisfy our needs and were very cost conscious at the same time. The memorial services as well the burial services were beautiful and were carried out very efficiently as planned. Troy and his staff assisted in arranging for an escort, helped us arrange for the music, helped us pick and arrange for flowers. The programs for the service were perfect for the occasion. “I would highly reccomend Lowmans Funeral Home for services. Our family had graveside services, unfortunately during a rain shower. Bill Lowman was very professional in his actions and showed great sympathy to the family. He quickly provided umbrellas for those unable to find shelter. A military service was provided and after the flag that draped the coffin was given to the family, he made sure flowers were put on the coffin. These are things I am sure are second nature to him but I was impressed by his attentiveness to detail. His actions I am sure gave comfort to the family as they said their final farewells. Thank you Bill Lowman and Lowmans Funeral Home for a job well done.”
