“Prestige has been the best decision my family could have made. We were looking for a smaller senior community for my Uncle who needed help with meals and a "social life". The staff all took a personal interest in him and eased the transition to his new place. But his face really lit up when Chef Joel spoke to him in French! The food is excellent and there are so many choices it can be hard to decide what to order. The favorite part of his week though are the twice weekly bus tours. Getting out and seeing the surrounding community has been the best medicine. Thanks Prestige!”

“We have used Bob's Chem Dry services for years. He is courteous, on time and knows his business. The Chem-Dry process is so much better than steam cleaning or any other type of cleaning. It is non-allergenic, which is good for asthma sufferers. There is no noisy van outside and hoses coming into the house. It takes about two hours "drying time" before furniture can be moved back in place. We recommend Bob's Chem-Dry of Green Valley!”

“If you love tamales you’ll love this place. We took home the chili-cheese and the pork varieties. The pork has a solid center of excellently seasoned pork surrounded by a thin layer of masa. The chili-cheese filling indistinguishable from the masa and it may be the masa is just enhanced with the flavor and molded into the corn husk. They also have beef but alas they were sold out when we stopped in. Didn’t sample any of the meat available in the cold case.”

“We were unable to get a spot earlier last week - April (it's very popular, especially with birders) but the ranger told us to try Monday or Tuesday after noon and we were able to choose from 3 open spaces, though only one would have been available for an RV. People in RVs will happily stay for the 14 day maximum, though you can go down the road to the much more remote Proctor campground and wait for a space to open up. Proctor offers dispersed camping, far from the neighbors, but it's lower elevation and in shrubs instead of trees. At Bog Springs, we noticed that the RV next to the toilet relocated to another spot when we were packing up, so it's not hard to get an ideal space if you have time and patience. We only stayed one night and had a great site in the back (sites 9 &10 by the Dutch John Spring trail are tents only). Each site has 1 or 2 picnic tables, fire pits, access to potable water (wonderful!) and ample trees to shade you or to hang a hammock. The campers across the street were camping in the hammocks. As it's getting hot in April in Arizona, it's lovely to be at this camp site that is in the low 80s during the day when it's 90s in Tucson. It dropped to the mid 40s at night, which was perfect sleeping bag weather. In the morning, we were visited by turkeys and deer strolling through.”

“My primary care guy happened to find evidence of A-Fib and sent me to Pima Heart in Green Valley. The office staff on both of my visits was professional in checking me in with Covid protocols in place. They were nice and even fun. My Dr visit was with Kirk (as in the church on the glen not Mr Douglas) Gavlick. He was amazing. Super knowledgeable as well as completely in tune with the information he judiciously listened to from me. He is super interesting and downright hilarious. He set up a perfect course of treatment for me. The second visit was a follow up echocardiogram. The tech seemed a little brusk at first (it was an end of the day appointment), but was very cool, professional and open as we went through the process. I'd recommend these folks to anyone needing heart care; great experience.”
