Really cool hiking trails. Breathtaking views. Just be aware that there's a $7 charge per vehicle, but it's absolutely worth it.

We were hiking there on a Saturday in November and it wasn’t terribly busy. The bicyclists were courteous to us hikers. Great views and lots of great flora.

Great place to hike with multiple trails to chose from. Each trail varies from easy, moderate to difficult. We saw a lot of bikes too. Highly recommended for kids too.

A great place for desert hikes! Horse, mountain bike and people friendly trails. Opens at 8 but you can hike at sunup and pay for entrance in a drop-off box. Friendly people and social distance environment!! This is definitely a desert park so be aware and dress appropriately!

I hike San Tan Park a couple of times a week, even in the summer. There are numerous trails. Some trails are busier than others. Other trails you feel like you are the only one on the trail, you hardly ever meet another person. The scenery is beautiful especially the Malpais mountains.
