“I had a blast at Los Favoritos Mexican Food. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious and authentic. I ordered the **JUMBO BURRITO**, which was so big that I could barely lift it. It was stuffed with rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and carne asada. The meat was tender and flavorful. The burrito was so satisfying that I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. It was also fun to see the reaction of the staff and other customers when they saw the size of my burrito. They were amazed and impressed by my appetite, i imagine. I think they should make the JUMBO burrito a food challenge and post the victors on a wall of fame. I would definitely sign up for that. I also ordered a regular carne asada burrito for my wife, who was jealous of my JUMBO burrito. She said her burrito was good too, but I could tell she wanted mine. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Los Favoritos to anyone who loves Mexican food and huge portions.”

“I used to visit here when I lived in Arizona over 10 years ago. This was my first trip back since I moved back and omg it tasted like home. “I really wanted this place to be awesome. The little place is clean inside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bread is phenomenal! Boars Head products are great quality. There was just no WOW to the sandwich. I don’t know what they could have done differently or what I could’ve added, but if I’m paying $17 for a sandwich and a pickle, I don’t want it to taste like 10 bucks. The only other negative is that there is one girl making the sandwiches, so if there’s anyone else in the place, or if you’re competing with call-in orders, you are going to wait a long time. I waited nearly 30 minutes and I was the only person in the place. A woman called in a few sandwiches just as I was walking in.”

“Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Phoenix. Drive through can take a while but the food is fresh so it's well worth the wait. The Carne Asada is perfectly cooked and seasoned. “The place is not too big but it definitely has a loyal followers of customers cause soon as I opened the door, every table was full on a Sunday morning. We picked up the Bacon Breakfast Platter and a Bacon Breakfast Burrito. Gotta love the fact that the Bacon they use are on the large side of things, with a nice crunch when you bite down. The eggs and potatoes left me wanting for abit more flavor, but I understand that everyone has a different palate. Good thing a lil bit of salt and pepper is included. The employees were definitely hard at work behind the counter, taking orders and pushing out customers food as best they could. My order was brought to the table I was waiting on and was sent off with a big smile and a "thank you, for stopping by" from the server. Will definitely stop by again to try some more of the menu.”

Collard greens remind me of home each bite. The lemon pepper hot chicken wings were hot and tasty. The loaded fries with shrimp and brisket had me excited for each bite accompanied by honey sauce. The mac and cheese was great with the meal and the cornbread was a nice filler in the meal. The catfish is the best I’ve ever had (the previous best I had was a great spot in Virginia). The whole menu is going to be something you’ll love.”

“Wow! This little ice cream parlor has amazing ice cream and shaved ice! It’s a little shop, the decor goes perfectly with the ghost town. Their caramel and coffee ice cream was really good! I didn’t know shaved ice was so good until I tried the prickly pear one! Ask for prickly pear with a little bit of lime. They have clean restrooms. The staff is very nice and helpful. “Fantastic dinner!! This was a very nice dinner located inside of a truck stop. The waitresses were top notch. The food tastes homemade and came out rather quickly. I got biscuits and gravy, my favorite.. the biscuits were toasted and fresh. One of the best places I have had biscuits and gravy. My partner got a burrito with a potato casserole. Very good! The place wasn't too noisy or crowded. Will be coming back to try some of their other menu options.”

“We went to Oracle intending to eat lunch at the cafe' across the street, but it did not look inviting, and parking is terrible. We ended up at the Oracle Inn Steakhouse. Again, it did not look particularly appealing on the outside, but it has a huge paved parking lot. We walked inside and immediately felt relieved. This historical restaurant is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We both had awesome cheeseburgers, and the sidewinder fries are amazing! The service is great too. It is under new ownership, and they are diligently working to update and repair. The patio bar is cool, and the outdoor fireplace is a nice touch. Saturday nights they have great live music. The menu is limited right now, but the variety of items should appeal to everyone. We will be back with 25 or more of our friends at the end of the month. It will be a regular stop from now on.”
