“This is a very special library in Arivaca. The staff is more than happy to help you find what you need. They used to run a few programs pre covid. You can still walk up to the door and someone will help you or hang out in the patio they have wifi and tables to use. I have often done my homework out there. I know that the hours have changed since the pandemic so may want to check before going if you live far away. It is my favorite library in the whole wide world.”

“My family and I went in today and we got to sign up for the Summer Reading Program (there is now also a reading program for adults and you can get some cool prizes). We were helped by one of the librarians and the Security Guard. We were given all kinds of goodies and the staff was so kind! Libraries can be such an underrated resource. “Great library and so convenient to have a library so close to home! I love that I can order books online and get notified when the books are ready for pick up. Unfortunately, the hours had to be changed due to Deer Valley School District, but I don't hold it against the library since they are sharing space with the high school. Honestly, Deer Valley School District, it was fine to share the space for over twenty years (I've lived in Anthem since 2000) and now all of a sudden there's an issue with sharing the space! Just another reason I'm not a fan of DVUSD!”

“The library and community center is a gorgeous part of Florence. Plenty of open space, great material collection, and family friendly. Even the outside is beautiful to see if you take the opportunity to walk around. Close to a large local park, aquatic center, and other recreational spaces. Definitely stop by whether you're visiting or living in the area!”

“This library is about three stories tall and has a basement section. When you take the elevator down you will see that the basement leads to an outdoor area that could best be described as a large grass laden amphitheater. This library has the intranet. Which is a very useful tool. It also has Starbucks. Which is another useful too that helps you stay awake so you can concentrate on whatever you are looking at on the intranet. Oh yea. I almost forgot. They also have these things called "BOOKS." I am not totally sure what they are but I was told that if you handle one the wrong way you can get something called a "paper cut". The cuts are not that bad though but I was told that they sting. I think it may be the book's self defense mechanism which is essential to it's survival. Porcupines have quills, gazelles can move quickly and books have paper in them that cut people. I would stay the heck away from books if I were you. Just leave them on the shelf where they belong.”

“I have been coming to this library for 10 plus years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! The only thing I would change is for the county to begin a daily cleanup of the grounds which is full of debris and litter. The county could hire someone for 2 hours a day to make it presentable and more appealing”

And in the odd occasion that there are not recent books, than there are endless shelves of not so recent ones. I also like to peruse the used books being sold by the "Friends of The Library".
