“Parking is $3.50 plus taxes or $4.75 per day for uncovered. Surface is unpaved and uneven. Not a huge problem but not my preferred parking lot normally. Shuttle was fast to the airport. However, van was old and dirty. Air was blasting and both ceiling vent covers were broken off so I was unable to close the air vent or even move the air off me. While the price is OK, I won't be coming back.”

“The center was a bit small to my liking. However, the people working there were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Also, in spite of its size, it is kept very clean and there are some interesting exhibits inside as I recall. The highlight of this center was the hummingbird area outside. I've never seen so many of them, so up close! That was quite a sight! :) PS. The parking by the nature center is very nicely shaded for the most part. Lots of trees, so your car can stay cool in the summer. Edit: For some reason, there are two markers on Google Map for this preserve. The actual nature center is marked as Visitor Center. This Nature Center pin is more so for the parking lot. Just so you know, there is a parking lot close by the actual visitor center, and if that one gets full, you can park in the additional parking spots which is highlighted by this pin.”

“I'm not sure why the other people below me gave this a 1 star. The parking garage really isn't that bad and it's close to the Tempe Lake and A Mountain. It's nice and shaded, but if you do come in during a weekday, you can expect the garage will be full and at 5 pm, yes, there can be a line of cars parading down to their exit. Then, sometimes, you have that one guy who doesn't have a monthly pass try exit out of the monthly pass exit which can sometimes cause a jam... Parking is $6 an hour if you don't have a monthly pass.... and I'd still go with the Mission Palms lot about 5 minutes from this lot- they charge only $2 an hour.”
