“A nice park with a good variety of things to do for the Littles. The jungle gym has a section focused for toddlers and bigger kids. Several swings and slides are available on a rubber and turf play area. The center has several grills, benches and tables available. Baseball fields, basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts line the outside as well as a big green space. The only noticeable downside is a lot of people seem to leave their trash and some of the older kids can get significantly out of hand/disregard their surroundings and others around them. I did not notice a bathroom but I also did not seek it out”

“The park was clean, no trash. The fields were ready for use for our team practice. The bathrooms are locked up on the weekend so plan accordingly if visiting this park. Can't complain and will most likely use again.”

“Incredibly beautiful & massive park that offers everything you can imagine! There is something here for everyone! They have a splash pad, skate park, motocross jumps, assorted ball fields, a dog park & of course, fantastic playgrounds! I rode the ziplines with my granddaughter & had the best time! The views & scenery are absolutely spectacular! A great place to spend the day!”

“Desert Sky Park is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. The park is clean, well-maintained, and offers a great variety of amenities. The sports fields are top-notch, perfect for soccer, baseball, and other activities, and the walking paths are great for a peaceful stroll. There’s plenty of open space for picnics or just relaxing with family and friends. The playground is a hit with kids, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and safe. Whether you’re looking to exercise, play sports, or simply enjoy a beautiful day outside, Desert Sky Park has something for everyone.”

“Beautiful trail for a morning or evening walk. They have a timed sprinkler system and Chiko loves running through them. The park and walking path is nicely kept. There’s no enforcement for people with unleashed dogs, which is the only disappointing factor. Overall, great place!”

“This was a great place to learn of the past people that lived here over 700 years ago! The cave was really cool! But we were not able to go inside as they were closed for the day. The 19 rooms have pretty much collapsed on themselves over the years, but there are pictures inside of the store area. There is also a 20 minute informational film that you can watch upstairs as well. I still recommend this Tonto cave!”

“I visited Copper Sky Regional Park as my son played in a soccer tournament hosted here over two weekends in April 2024. While, for a Greater Phoenix-based team, it can easily be an "away game" (30-40+ minutes away), the field set-up seemed functional (they had multiple baseball games/tournament at the same time and there were no issues obvious issues with field confusion, no seating, etc.), and the fields were well maintained (and the grass was Arizona good for April) when we visited. However, finding a restroom when you're at some of the further (i.e., #7 & #8) soccer fields seemed to prove a hassle for many parents, and entering/exciting the parking lot (in-between game times) was a nightmare.”

“The tennis courts are very nice. They are well maintained. There are a lot of courts here.”

“this place is okay, many people take their small dogs in the big dog area . i wouldn't say the friendliness of the small dogs are great, they will run up to your dogs barking / growling and the owners will just laugh and think its funny. just because your dog is small doesnt mean it has an excuse to be poorly behaved!!🤦♀️ . the big dog area is pretty nice, it has a lot of benches but it mostly is just a big dirt area. i wish the big dog area had some grass and was bigger! overall, its a pretty small dog park.”

“Great campsite in tall pine trees. Maybe five or six spots, I did not see any outhouse. It does sit very close to the road, for a fairly remote place was surprised amount of cars driving by...Rose Creek Campground is just down the road a bit and there were a lot of people there so might been source of the traffic. Stayed here on a Friday night. From Phoenix (Camelback and 51) was 2 hour 20 minutes drive. Gorgeous drive. The last 12 or so miles are single lane curvy mountain roads. I would not bring a trailer camper here. Campsite is clean, picnic tables cannot be moved, some the sites had rock fire pits mine did not. Zero cell service on Sprint. Definitely recommend.”

“A surprisingly great vistor/discovery center! We wanted to just get out of the house for the morning and found it a great stop while visiting the lake. Ranger Kevin was a great host and very informative about the region. He even brought out some of the live animal displays for the kids to see! It is small but for it's size it's a wonderful stop.”

“Picnic areas & restrooms were clean. Playground equipment looked safe & maintained. Not a dog park, but lots of green areas to have pups on leash. Wish there were more shade by the baseball diamond. Some questionable activities in the parking lot, perhaps, but nothing dangerous.”

“The hosts are awesome; very welcoming and thoughtful. The park is kept clean and nice. Camp sites are spacious. There is a laundry room, an exercise room. Rec room, and bathrooms with showers, which are kept very clean and open from 8am to 8pm. The park is close enough to the highway to hear it at night, but it isn't busy and wasn't loud. There is a Mexican restaurant very close that is quite good.”

“Went to watch the Sunnyside vs Rincon football game at the stadium. At half time the score was 35 to 0.. Sunnyside This park is a beautiful park. Green grass, well maintained fields, CLEAN. Nice covered play area. Plenty of picnic tables. There's a pool (not sure if it's open). Unfortunately, the basketball, meeting rooms are all closed. Sitting and going to waste.”

“Discovered serenity at Monterey Park. Its pristine upkeep and lush surroundings made for a calming escape. Families picnicked under the shady trees, kids laughed on the playground, and the air was filled with contentment.
