I felt the academics were not up to par. my kids have been going here for a year now and I addressed the issue with the school and since then I have changed my outlook. Like every school and every person in the world we are imperfect but if you notice these imperfections and strive to change then in my book that is awesome!! The school has made many changes this year they are organizing more events to bring the community, the students, and parents together. We can not blame our schools for their imperfections if we ourselves are not trying to do our own part here at home. “This school is family to us. We love that our kids are happy to go to school... that's not something you often hear! Great support! Quick to fix any problem and they do it with such great character which is setting a great example for our kids. Principals are involved in every single thing! Makes a huge difference! Their daily motivation and patience is inspiring! (I don't know how they always seem to have it together!) My 5th grader is heartbroken it's her last year here but she's happy to leave with wonderful memories. All thanks to everyone being a family team! I love how all the teachers know each other well and work together. The nurse is wonderful! She truly cares for all these kids and is so well with them. Coach is just amazing! He knows every single kid, has conversations with them all and they enjoy that so much! He keeps them active and always smiling. Tami and Kelly in the front office have been there for as long as we've been there and they are always a joy to see coming into the school! All together this school is such a great atmosphere!!!!!”

“Got my Open Water scuba certification through El Mar Diving center and could not be more satisfied with my experience. They have a fantastic team of superb instructors (Paul Ocenas was our primary instructor) and I left feeling truly prepared to safely scuba dive in open water. They did an amazing job with a variety of people of all skill levels, and their equipment is better quality than anything you can find on Amazon for reasonable prices. Highly recommend.”

“MARCHING BAND IS COOL! I was a member of the Alhambra Marching Band and let me tell you something, this school may not have a good reputation but one thing for sure is that the marching band is one of the most fastest growing in the district, Mr Kalish is an amazing Band instructor and anyone who wants to be a part of a family and make friends that you can always count on should join Band! No experience even needed However, The school spirit sucked, I felt kind of felt like a delinquent during lunch. The security is rude to even the students who are doing what the need to be doing. I wish the school gave the students a little more independent liberty.”

“My two small children (infant/ 3's) attended McCormick Preschool. You will not find a more caring staff with a lower turnover rate amongst them in the valley. The teachers genuinely cared about my kids and embraced them. All the perks of a small/non-corporate daycare come with McCormick: flexible policies, compassion for specific/extenuating circumstances, and a tight-knit community. All the teachers and staff were familiar with my kids-- not just the teachers in their assigned rooms. It is a casual and fun environment, and I'm glad my kids got to spend so much time there. (As an added perk, It's also the best priced facility we found and there was no silly "registration" fee)”

“Great school! I was very nervous to send my 6th grader to a middle school. We all remember how middle school goes. So this was tough for me as a mother to know that I was sending him into a shark tank. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised. The staff has been pretty nice the counselor is amazing and the communication is pretty good. There are few teachers that are probably close to retirement and you can tell however my overall experience thus far has been positive. My son has had a little bit of an adjustment but he has had a lot of support from the counselor and helping in his transition to a bigger School.”

“My experience with Sangoma Holistic was phenomenal. Mae was very professional and knowledgeable about streaming. We set our intentions for the session in the beginning and that made it relaxing. The environment was extremely comfortable in temperature, space, and environment. The meditation/ music for the atmosphere got me into a relaxed mindset for the experience.
