“It’s a huge park right next to an elementary school. Around 4:30-6:30pm, there are many dog owners who let their pups play in the field. In the winter morning, you can see morning dew spread across the field as in the picture which is eerie but cool.”

“Sturdy and adjustable, it has been a very nice table for my daughter to use for school work, activities, and whatever she needs it for. With the ability to go up and down, she has fun with it as well, because she can have interchangeable seating/standing options. Lastly, the outlet we purchased fits well, and let's her have easy access to electronics even while they are charging. Would recommend to anyone looking to bring joy to a supposed work environment, and with a combination of useful and fun, it keeps easily bored children entertained while still getting their work done.”

“We had a lovely time at the farm. It’s clean, plenty of space to social distance, and everyone seemed to follow the mask mandate. However, we definitely suggest a worker be present by the animals. This is because people cannot be trusted. On our visit we saw a group of women and their kids feeding grass to goats (despite numerous signs not to do so), throwing feed at the ducks, and chasing and screaming at the chickens (yes, even the grown women). Those poor animals. We said some comments, but that didn’t deter their behavior. We would have asked an employee for help had we seen one. Besides the blacksmith (who was great to speak with), the gentleman at the house, and the ticket booth guy, we didn’t see any workers nearby.”

“Dr. Nayana Patel is amazing! My 10 year old had non-stop migraines. Specialists were no help. Dr. Nayana Patel listened carefully to her symptoms, habits and history. On the second visit he came up with the right remedy. The headaches faded away within a month. She's been well for years now.”

“This review is actually for Ardenwood Historic Farm, which is part of the wonderful East Bay Regional Park District. We went to see monarch butterflies but humans’ collective industrial-technological “Midas touch” on this glorious globe of ours is decimating their numbers and there were none to be observed. Still, this site is a true gem for its tranquility, modest-yet-charming collection of hoofed and assorted small animals as well as fowl of various forms, meandering paths, scattered picnic areas, and lots of child-oriented scheduled activities. The peacocks are fearless. Part of the special educational opportunity provided by a space like Ardenwood is that the learning is as much about how to simply enjoy *being* in an idyllic setting as it is about more concrete informational learning. Just being at Ardenwood for its immersive pleasures could very well be its primary draw, while the other “stuff to do” is the trick to get you there. Either way, it’s definitely worth a visit.”
