This is a very popular park with various trails spread throughout the hills, bay, and marshlands to allow for a wide variety of experiences. The trails are well kept and there is a lot of parking available both inside and outside the park. There are also lovely picnic benches as well. It is also, overall, quite convenient accessibility-wise for those who are mobility challenged.
This is my close to my home and have been going here from the past 2 decades. Serene and vast landscape with rolling hills. Green during winter and brown, yet beautiful in Summer. Can walk your dogs and stop at vistas with vast views of the bay. The view was better before all the houses built around in the past few years, but still pretty. It has unique birds that are an ornithologists delight. Go there to calm your mind during weekday mornings or afternoons. Weekend parking can be an issue. Parking near the park entrance is free but you have to walk nearly a mile. Parking inside is $5. Well worth it.
Nice hills with various trails overlooking the bay. Several parking areas and restrooms. It was very windy on the top of the hill yesterday (middle of March). Will come again to explore further.
great walk! depending on which path you take there could be a little bit of an easy hike too. I saw a huge flock of wild turkeys too
This is a great place to get away from the noise and bustle of the Bay Area. The trails are well kept, and the views are breathtaking. It does get busy on weekends, and quite a few people weren't wearing masks, but the area is large enough to avoid those crowds. I've been coming here for decades. I will continue to come here for decades more.
