Busayo and the Gimag team were wonderful and caring. From the time we chose them for our mom who was going on hospice until her passing, their compassion and communication were constant. They were always very prompt in their response to any questions we asked. We cannot thank them enough for caring for our mom in the best manner possible during her short time on hospice.

In January of this year, while planning a transition from a skilled nursing care facility to home health care, I was referred to GIMAG Home Health Care. The highly qualified and experienced RN husband and wife team, Busayo and Bridget Ekunboyejo, came to see me personally. They spent a considerable amount of time respectfully listening to all that I shared regarding my complex medical picture and the even more complicated needs that lay ahead.

Right then and there was my confidence in them initially established and it has only grown since. It was about their genuine respect of me as a person. This spoke volumes as fundamentally my feeling safe and secure in their expert care stems from actually experiencing what kind of people they are authentically, not just what they do as licensed medical professionals.

Providing compassionate outstanding home health care is truly their valued commitment, passion and mission. It shows up realistically, practically and effectively in every aspect of what is done.

To state this is no small thing. Where the rubber meets the road my medical problems are very serious. I have several autoimmune disorders. One of them paralyzed my esophagus and I obtain medication and nutrition via gastric and intestinal tubes. Tube life is a world of indescribable and undesirable whirlwinds.

Then recently a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer was added. I have a chest tube requiring fluid drainage 3x a week while I receive targeted gene drug therapy, just commencing yesterday. The outcome remains to be seen.

But all to say I don’t know what I’d do without the specialized detailed attention and comprehensive care I receive in dealing with these heavily weighted medical challenges. High marks can be given to the coordination and utilization of numerous supplies, and I’ve greatly appreciated the more than ample education about their use applied to my care. Being so compromised, any way I can be empowered through knowledge is a vitally important and cherished aspect of care to me!

In addition to teaching, Busayo has also been a welcomed supporter and encourager, many times going out of his way to provide help where nothing and no one else could. Administrative activities have been without problems, and there’s been excellent reliable communication throughout the various ins and outs of everything. Like the very first day, I always feel seen, heard, cared about and respected reflected in action.

I don’t share this information to glorify suffering. Rather, I do so with the sincere hope that readers who are looking at this review to find the best home health care they can get, decide not to look further. The quality personalized care offered by GIMAG is exceptional and utterly trustworthy. Should you decide to avail yourself of their services you shall indeed be blessed.

And don’t be surprised if one day you’re led to write a review like this in order to get the good word around.

The entire process was seamless, from the first phone call to the last nursing check in after my husband's passing, the team was resourceful, professional and compassionate. Our RN, Busayo, was amazing! He made helpful suggestions, kept in contact with our physician and more than once made the impossible happen, obtaining necessary equipment after hours. He was a calming presence in the middle of chaos. The home health aide assigned to us (Julie) was wonderful and caring, we were so glad she was here when my husband passed, we felt we were not alone in a frightening time.
