Grand Lake Kitchen - Lake Merritt

Tasty pork belly, coffee liqueur drink + sourdough French toast that I’m glad I tried. Would recommend.

Plus it’s a fun location to be close to the lake, it’s a bit car heavy when you’re out in the outside seats though with lots of traffic and cars right next to you but you can catch a vibe from glimpsing the lake still.

I was expecting Grand Lake Kitchen to be awesome from what I'd heard, but going for the first time, I was completely blown away.

The brunch was out of this world. Fresh, delicious, and so fast! The vibes were off the charts and I can't wait to go back.

My favorite brunch spot in Oakland 9-years running. Everything is delicious and the staff is so friendly. It’s right by the lake. I recommend going on a Saturday then hitting up the Saturday market near the freeway.

Sourdough French Toast? I was very skeptical but gosh it lived up to it's reputation! It had right amount of sweetness and was chewy (I was expecting it to be hard)

Pork polenta was creamy and delicious. Could have had more pork on it though.

The cocktails were all great! We had white linen, cypress and Bellini. Recommend all of them!

They had Nosh donuts, which I didn't get to try this time, but on my list for next time.

Service was good. We had asked for scrambled instead of poached eggs but ended up with poached anyway. We were hungry by the time it came so didn't bother sending it back.
