“Wonderful walk thru the redwoods (although not the iconic ones but impressive just the same). Not allot of views of the vistas but territorial glimpses of the forest and trails. Lots of dog walkers here but once you are half a mile past a main trail head you could find yourself peacefully alone.”

“Wonderful hiking with many different routes. Nice views of the bay from some posts. Bathroom needs to be cleaned and maintain better.”

“Mountain Biking. Great trails. Juaquin Miller has some super fun downhill routes. Watch out for the hikers. Most are easy going... only the occasional self righteous MTB hater. Beware of erosion. Usual lines are becoming unpredictable.”

“I went here for a field trip and it was amazing! The bathrooms are clean, fun activities, the planetarium was amazing and super cool. I didn't any of the food because my school brought us lunch. We saw 5 different fire colors, and they made fire out of a powder! Totally recommend coming here”

“There are 2 large, enclosed spaces, one for larger or energetic dogs, and one for small dogs and dogs with lower energy, etc. When it's rainy, however, the lower enclosure for smalls gets water logged and not useable. Usually a good space and people follow rules for safe dog play. If your dog becomes disinterested or overwhelmed with the other dogs, it's quite easy to just leave and walk up the paths instead. I like this dog park best out of any in the area. I think it's the perfect size for a quick dog social, then a walk.”

“Has a dog park, hiking trails for hiking and biking, stairs to run on, a theatre, basketball court, and a Vista point of a scenic view of the bay area. Definitely a park to check out in Oakland. And please pick up after yourself after taking a photo shoot or having a picnic. It annoys me that there are fake flower petals/confetti on the ground because you don't want to clean up after yourself. And dog poop too.”
