Good BBQ, seafood pancake, and banchan. Wish I hadn't gotten the Korean Noodle Soup though. I would choose tofu, chicken, or pork for the soup and not the beef if noodle soup sounds particularly good. Beef in the soup was very tough. Noodles were probably perfect when taken out, but the the insulating bowls retain heat and continue cooking the noodles to a mush.
Pros: yummy BBQ, good banchan, reasonable value for BBQ
Cons: parking, Korean Noodle Soup (especially the beef)
Takeout experience: ordered their japchae (6.99) with beef (+$2). Tasty taste! Not too sweet and the portion is perfect.
If this place existed in SF it would be a line out the door. We came on a Saturday during prime time and got seated right away. The menu is very simple focusing on mainly their bibimbop bowls and dinner foods and appetizers.
The food portions are HUGE especially for the bowls. The fried wings and chicken does take a very long time to make stated on the menu.
The wings are super crispy and had the right amount of spice and sweetness. The bowls come scorching hot and they stay hot for a really long time so be careful. But I love how the green rice gets chard on the bottom and you have to scrap it off.
Overall I would love to come here again and I recommend this to any Korean food lover.
I was in the mood for some food from another nearby restaurant but the wait time was a bit much, so came here instead. Oh, how happy I am that I did. Although it was full, there was a table available so I got seated right away. However, it took some time before I got service. By the time I got my food in front of me, the only thing on my mind was the incredible aroma and the sizzling sound coming from the pot. The food was really good. Go visit
Good food. Cozy space ..great ambiance for group dinners. I got the hot pot bimbimbap with Salmon
