“I’ve been renting a shared studio with my band here for a few months and have no complaints. It’s an affordable place to play and has a smaller feel. Lots of bands at OMC pay same amount of money we pay to share a space with 5-6 bands and only get one set night a week. We have a small space that we share with one band and one band only. “I have been coming here for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and helpful and the teachers are knowledgeable and patient. The teachers also make learning how to play an instrument fun by encouraging students to choose a song they want to learn (you don't know how many times the teachers have to teach kids Let It Go, but the teachers are good sports about it and never complain). The recitals are fun and a great way to help kids (and adult musicians) get over their stage fright. The recitals also allow students to show off what they have learned in front of their friends and family and have fun doing it! All in all, Bay Area Academy of Music is a fun and friendly place for children (and adults!) to learn music.”
