(January 24, 2023, 12:25 pm)A great local airfield. A good location, except it's not close to any towns really, San Andreas is 10 minutes north, Angel's Camp about 10 minutes south. Has a decent number of hangars, but could definitely use more. Pretty hot in summer here too, being exposed on a ridge top. But, it's still a really nice field.

(March 27, 2013, 11:24 am)One of the most amenable airports in CA. Fuel prices are low, Loaner bikes stand ready, Staff is very helpful. Shops on the field went above and beyond to assist us with both airplane and non-airplane issues. This is a good example of what a community airport should be.
