Campsites are extremely close together. Otherwise it's very pretty.
Fairly clean and has a restroom on the campground. There isn't water access in all of the sites but convenient enough.
Very clean and quiet campgrounds. Restrooms are the best I've seen in a campground with flushing toilets and running water. Hiking trails are fantastic and the view is great.
I haven't been to live oak in a long time and I was quite impressed. The bathroom faculties were really clean and plentiful. There aren't a lot of level spots for tents but you can find at least one in each campsite. The campfire rings are good and the tables are plentiful at each site. We did have quite a few yellow jackets buzzing around in the morning. This is a good jumping off spot for rock city and a fairly challenging hike to the summit.
