“Read on why I gave it a 4 star rating. This is a small park, which borders a fence lined Storage Business and directly next to Hwy680 freeway overpass with a train in the area that runs through a few nights a week. Opposite side of the park is a Baptist Church. If you don't mind all the highway traffic noise it's not all that bad. I never see any children, folks are friendly and always looking out for each other. There is a strong pet policy with some folks having dogs and or cats. The on-site laundry facilities meet the needs, but there are other options locally. There are no OLD RV's, very clean place. Management / Owners are spot on good and fair people, they take feed back acting on it quickly and always enforce the rules! On occasion I had an extra vehicle and pack trailer at my spot for a few days, management contacted me saying I couldn't have them as other folks couldn't either, no favoritism here. So I went looking for another place to store them, I checked out the prices at the storage business next to the park WOW to high for my needs. Although its further to drive some storage companies in Fairfield are up to half the price. The space fee is getting high they go up once a year about $25, unsure why I don't see any improvements being done, but you got to pay to stay or move along, just remember the waiting list is long to get in, this place is always full. Utilities cost are reasonable depending of course on your usage. Enjoy and Happy Trails”

“Nice quiet paddock next to a wetland, with a capital, small toilet, and a loop trail with views of Mount Diablo. Cows are usually in the paddock but do not bother hikers. Lots of cow dung in some areas toward the back of the loop trail.”

“A fun historic East Bay site. Also free to visit. The John Muir house is in good shape and has some interesting rooms/history/artifacts. I believe it is 3 or 4 stories with the attic. You are allowed to walk around most areas. There is also a small guest house at the back of the property you can visit. Worth a quick visit if you're in the area.”

“I came in through the F street entrance next to Alhambra High School. Entrances can be hard to find so plan your trip ahead of time. The F Street entranceis a strenuous climb. When you get to the plateau, things become easier. This is a beautiful walk that for me started in the trees. Once on the plateau, you are in grazing lands with cows. Yes, there was a cow very close to me with no fence between us. It watched me but did nothing. The view is spectacular. You can go towards the coast or towards the Muir house. I had found the walk in 90 degree heat enough when I got to the plateau. I did see a deer, within 15 feet. Not a bad walk, it would be nicer on a cooler day.”

Biking, horseback riding, hiking, walking the dog, picnicking, playing in the creek, enjoying the views and appreciating nature easily accessible from the freeway. Go at your own pace-fast and strenuous or laid back and relaxed- stay for an hour or spend the day.”
