The owner (Jose) and staff are highly personable and accommodating. They did great work, and finished a day ahead of time. They even did a hand wash and blackened the tires before returning the car to me. I hope I don't need any future body work, but if I do, there is no question I will return to Mendelson's. This is not your typical body shop crew or experience.”

“I had a pretty bad dent on driver side door and a little paint damage. Other shops quoted me for over $1k+ because they wanted to repaint the whole door after fixing the dent and they said the paint wouldn’t be perfectly matched. Brian advised to just fix the dent and apply a little touch up paint myself after. Saved me a lot of money and did a great job! Once I apply the touch up paint it’s gonna be as good as new lol. Great customer service, punctual, cool guy and friendly dog too 😁. He even brought me out to the city so I could get refreshments and relax until he was done with the work.”

“What is every woman afraid of when going to a car repair shop? That they will be taken advantage of, right? Let me tell you about my day. To make it brief, Big O looked at my car twice in 2 weeks for a recurring problem and discovered a possible issue covered by the car warranty. The dealership said the issue was the tires and I needed 4 new ones. But....but...if it was the tires, why wouldn't Big O try to sell me tires? After calling Big O again, Ivan wanted to look at the car one more time. I really felt like he cared if the car was safe. When dropping off the car I told him I would be buying 2 new tires today. We figured out the issue together (probably a unique situation they will never see again) and he said my tires were fine. By this time, Big O has looked at my car on 3 occasions, and at no point have they tried to sell me anything. I walked in, ready to buy 2 new tires.They listened to me. They believed me when the dealership didn't. And I walked out having saved $1700 because they deemed the tires within their lifespan. I don't think you can get better customer service than that!”

“It's such a relief to have found Gonzalo and everyone at Star Auto. I had my car towed to them based on AAA recommendation of where "everyone" goes and I could not be happier. These are really knowledgeable and most importantly, great people. My issue was the alternator, they gave me a price and recommended changing the belt at the same time. I told them to hold off on the belt because I had it changed last year when I had water pump done. I found out when I picked up the car that they replaced the belt (because they thought it was best) and gave me the old bet. I'm so happy to have found someone I can trust and have my best interest. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“I have one bad experience at this place I was waiting in line and the lady was helping a customer another customer came up and just cut me in line and the lady at the cash register didn't do anything.. if she had just told me that she was in the middle of helping this guy I would have said no problem but you didn't communicate that to me so all I saw was this guy cutting me in line and her not paying attention... After he was done she told me and I mention to her that it would have been nice to know that when he cut me... It seems Petty and I'm sure she was tired but communication is important!! I still give the place 5 stars because there is an older gentleman that is always very helpful and it is a great place to go if they have what you want!”
