“What is every woman afraid of when going to a car repair shop? That they will be taken advantage of, right? Let me tell you about my day. To make it brief, Big O looked at my car twice in 2 weeks for a recurring problem and discovered a possible issue covered by the car warranty. The dealership said the issue was the tires and I needed 4 new ones. But....but...if it was the tires, why wouldn't Big O try to sell me tires? After calling Big O again, Ivan wanted to look at the car one more time. I really felt like he cared if the car was safe. When dropping off the car I told him I would be buying 2 new tires today. We figured out the issue together (probably a unique situation they will never see again) and he said my tires were fine. By this time, Big O has looked at my car on 3 occasions, and at no point have they tried to sell me anything. I walked in, ready to buy 2 new tires.They listened to me. They believed me when the dealership didn't. And I walked out having saved $1700 because they deemed the tires within their lifespan. I don't think you can get better customer service than that!”

“Liz Wilson is a top-notch agent and I really enjoyed working with her. As a first-time buyer with *lots* of questions, she was able to guide me in my search for "the perfect house". We first started looking in 2005 or so, in East Contra Costa County and when I realized I really wasn't ready, she said to keep her number and call when I was. So in late 2007, I did, and it was of course, a very different market. She is patient, thorough, and knowledgeable of the Bay Area and the ever-changing demographics; and she really hears between the lines of what you are telling her. Her personality is friendly, yet professional and very easy to talk to. Always has a smile for me! I thought I knew most of what I wanted in my first home, and over the course of my search, Liz took me out on half a dozen (probably more!) property tours, carefully plotting out our stops so it was a good use of our time. But it was the time spent talking at the properties where she would point out a dip in the floor, or that the garage had no laundry hook ups-details an excited client is missing because our eyes are focused on daydreaming how can this place become "our home"-that showed Liz's true expertise. And once the choice was made, for a great gem of a house in Pittsburg in the Stoneman area, the new world of questions about contracts and inspections and, well, if you've done this before you get it; if you haven't well, if she doesn't know the answer, she tells you "I'll find out" and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. This is one of the biggest decisions you can make, and she doesn't get numb to the fact that this may not be her first home sale, but it is mine. That kind of genuine caring and understanding is not common from what I have heard of the industry in general. Additionally, by putting me in touch with a great mortgage broker who works just as hard to get you the best loan, well, I think it's the perfect "marriage" of home buying! When my house did close and she gave me the keys, I was certain I got the best deal, on the best house with the BEST agent. I recommend her as a buyers' or sellers' agent, and will work with her again in a heartbeat!”
