Stephen Harris Park

“One of the nicest parks around our town. Probably one of the nicest parks I’ve ever been too. There is tennis courts, bathrooms on site, a walking path that goes around the park, a very cute, shaded play ground, a work out station, a soccer field, and the scenery is just beautiful. Cherry trees, oak trees, beautiful green grass and much more! The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The bathrooms are kept up for the most part. There is bbq grilles to enjoy a nice family fun filled day!”

“Peter Bertelsen Memorial Park is hands down my favorite park to visit! Even though the pavilion part in which the bathrooms were located burned down the park and surrounding area are just stunning! Their are a wide variety of different trees to observe. With the trees comes birds who chirp so beautifully. The greenery and atmosphere all around is so beautiful! If you need a break away from the crazy world without having to go to far from home this is the place! So peaceful and calming! Great family atmosphere!”

Trailhead to Browns Ravine

Address: 1992 Vista Mar Dr, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762, USA

“There is a great trail that runs parallel to the lake and marina with many shoots that will lead to the lake. I take my dog for a run/hike along the trail and to play in the water. Late april is very popular and people will drive 100+ miles to see the beautiful Lupine flowers. They have a very short season so get over here when they are blooming.”

Folsom Lake Park

Address: Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95746, USA

Park

“Large enough for small motor boats and paddle boarding. We rented a house on the lake so getting our boards on the water wasn't a problem. I'm sure there are areas where it's easy access for others.”
