It was my brother-in-law's birthday and he wanted to go there My sister and my nieces went as well. A very friendly place and fast. The chips and salsa were really good. I couldn't stay away from them.
I know I was there last year with friends and I know I had a michelada it was wonderful! Fresno has a jewel!!

On my first visit on a Tuesday afternoon it was amazing service and deliciously flavored food.
I'd recommend coming during the day since it is located in a rougher areaof Fresno. With that said this place has been here for decades and the food stands out. I came here when I lived in the area and have returned several times over the years. If you don't speak Spanish or Mexican music, you won't enjoy yourself. I on the other hand love the atmosphere, the food and the authenticity of the business here. Honestly worth the time to visit this off the beaten path location. It's off the 180 freeway for faster access. Bring friends with you to enjoy this establishment. I know I have.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Both locations are consistent and delicious. Can be crowded at both but worth the wait! Favorite dish is the caldo de res (beef soup) and their homemade salsa.

An absolute staple in Fresno. Best Micheladas in town, too. I make weekly visits. Tacos TJ is never a bad call.
