(May 29, 2020, 10:37 am)Maybe the best course in central California. Typical Johnny Miller course - a lot of variety (no two holes a like) and large, spralling, undulating greens. And the crew keeps it in very good condition.
Anyone from a 30 to a single digit handicap index will enjoy this course. But beware, you need to hone your putting skills, both in stroke/distance control, and in green reading. (The first time I played this course I wanted to shoot bogey golf so badly. Shot a 91...with 43 putts!I had so much fun, and was so frustrated at the same time. Great day!)
The changes in elevation make this course sooooo much fun. And yes, you cn loose golf balls here if you can't keep it close ot the fairway, but I can't think a another course in the area that offers so many different looks and such wonderful shot-making risk-reward opportunities.
